Indication
For relief of nasal congestion associated with acute & chronic rhinitis, common cold, sinusitis and hay fever or other allergies. It is also used decongestant in otitis media.
Dosage and Administration
Adult & Children 6 years of age: 2 to 3 drops of Azolin 0.05% Nasal Drops in each nostril twice daily in the morning and evening.
Children 2 - 5 years of age : 2 to 3 drops of Azolin 0.025% Nasal Paediatric Drops in each nostril twice daily in the morning & evening. Dosage for children younger than 2 years of age has not been established. Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride should be used for no longer than 3 - 5 days.
Composition
Azolin 0.05% Nasal Drops : Each ml contains Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride USP 0.5 mg.
Azolin 0.025% Paediatric Nasal Drops : Each ml contains Oxymetazoline Hydrochloride USP 0.25 mg.
