Indication
Constipation, Hepatic encephalopathy (portal systemic encephalopathy)
Dosage and Administration
Adult (including elderly):
Constipation : Initially 15 ml twice daily, adjusted according to patient\'s need.
Child : 5 - 10 years : 10 ml twice daily.
1 - 5 years : 5 ml twice daily.
Under 1 year : 2.5 ml twice daily. Tulos may, if necessary, be taken with water or fruit juice.
Hepatic Encephalopathy : 30 - 50 ml 3 times daily, subsequently adjusted to produce 2 - 3 soft stools daily.Composition
Each 5 ml concentrated oral solution contains Lactulose BP 3.35 g.
