Indication
Peravet is used against ascaris, Oesophagostomum, Oxyuris, Trichuris and some Strongyloides. It is effective against all adult forms as well as against some evolutive stages of worms where it is found to be a drug of first choice.
Dosage and Administration
Cattle/Buffalo/Horse :10-25 g/100 kg body weight.
Sheep/Goat : 3-5 g/10 kg body weight.
Dog/Cat : 100-150 mg/kg body weight
Poultry :
10 g powder should be mixed with 6-8 liter drinking water or 3-5 kg feed per 100 Chicks of 4-6 week age or 30 growing or adult birds for two days.
In case of poultry, 1st deworming should be done at 4-6 weeks, 2nd deworming should be done at 8-10 weeks, then every 3 months subsequently. Poultry on heavily contaminated liter are dewormed on a regular schedule often every 30 days.
