ACME, countries one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company, celebrated the International Women’s Day 2021 at their Corporate Office as a tribute and gratitude towards all the female employees working in the company on Monday, 8th of March, 2021. The aim of this year’s theme, ‘Choose to Change’ for IWD 2021 was to encourage women empowerment in the challenging roles, titled as ‘ACME, Empowering Women in Leadership’.
Aligning with the global theme of IWD 2021, ACME celebrated the day with renowned media personality and model, Md. Adil Hossain Nobel, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of Robi Axiata Limited and famous female sports personality and Bangladeshi weightlifter, Mabia Akhter Simanta who won gold medal at the 2016 South Asian Games at Guwahati women’s in the 63 kg weight class, graced the program as special guests with their presence and shared their views. Alongside, Ms. Nagina Afzal Sinha, Chairman of The ACME Laboratories Ltd., Ms. Jahanara Mizan Sinha, Deputy Managing Director of The ACME Laboratories Ltd. & beloved wife of late Chairman Nasir-ur-Rahman Sinha were present in the ceremony as chief guests. The program was also enlightened with the presence of Mr. Rezaur Rahman Sinha, Ms. Sabrina Juned and Mr. Fahim Sinha, Directors of The ACME Laboratories Ltd. along with all the female employees working in the company’s corporate Office.
