On the occasion of Mother’s Day, a special event titled ‘D-gest Presents Rotnodharini’ was held to honor the country’s gynaecologist mothers. The event took place at the Samson H. Chowdhury Centre of Dhaka Club, organized under the patronage of Acme Gynocare and managed by The ACME Laboratories Ltd.
The program was presided over by Professor Dr. Farhana Dewan, President of OGSB (Obstetrical and Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh), with Professor Dr. Halida Hanum Akhter, a renowned public health expert and member of the Women Affairs Reform Commission, attending as the Chief Guest. Special guests included former OGSB Presidents Professor Dr. Samina Chowdhury and Professor Dr. Rowshan Ara Begum.
The core objective of this exceptional initiative was to pay tribute to gynaecologist mothers of the nation—women who simultaneously serve patients with dedication while fulfilling their responsibilities to their families. A special Mother’s Day video was screened at the event, highlighting their dual roles, sacrifices, and the balance they maintain between professional and personal life, which deeply moved the audience.
The event was graced by prominent representatives from ACME Laboratories, whose presence and contributions added great value. Among them were Md. Ferdous Khan, Executive Director of Sales & Distribution; Mohammad Ziauddin, Senior General Manager; Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Marketing Manager; Nafisa Tabassum, Deputy Manager; Md. Muaz Bin Zabal, Assistant Manager; Lamia Afroze Maria, Senior Brand Executive; Ayrin Yesmin, Senior Brand Executive.
Through ‘D-gest Presents Rotnodharini’, The ACME Laboratories Ltd. not only honored the contributions of women in the medical profession but also delivered a positive and inspiring message to all. As part of its continued commitment, ACME pledges to support such initiatives in the future, celebrating the invaluable role of gynaecologist mothers in society.
